Horsehide

One of one, cut from leather tanned by Shinki in Himeji, a tannery that works only with horse. The hides are tanned with mimosa in wooden pits, then dyed black and oiled. The leather comes out dense, deeply lustrous and finely creased. It breaks in slowly, gains shine over the years and eventually takes the shape of the wearer. Lined in Como silk.

The pattern comes from the BOZO archive: a timeless line, barely taken in at the waist, which gives the chest a soft volume. Slanted welt pockets piped in leather, two-way zip.
